METALNROCKNROLL4EVA IS BACK BABY! Blue Öyster Cult performs "Veteran of the Psychic Wars" live at the Hollywood Sportatorium in Hollywood, Florida on October 9, 1981. One of the highlights of this performance is Buck Dharma's guitar solo, one of the greatest he's ever performed! I spent hours digitally restoring the audio and video from this rare performance just for you guys! I obtained a decent quality bootleg video source and a high quality master audio source, matched them up in my editing software, and touched up the video quite a bit. Definitely not perfect but it's the best looking this performance will ever look, guaranteed! Nothing but quality from metalnrocknroll4eva \w/ Set List: 1. The Red and the Black 2. E.T.I. (Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) 3. Joan Crawford 4. Burnin' for You 5. Veteran of the Psychic Wars 6. (Don't Fear) The Reaper

Buck is one of a kind! Able to ripp and sound melodic on the same breath. He is my personal Gesus. A top 5 quitarist in a hall of fame performance!
-
Yeah, Brilliant guitar from Buck Dharma. But this also shows just how good a vocalist Bloom was as well
-
This absolutely rips

Heavy Metal should be re-released in theaters. I think it would go over very well, both with those that saw/remember it originally, and with all of those growing up today with the absolute garbage that passes as music. A lot of 25-30 and younger are listening to the same stuff I did growing up, my 20 year old son included. Acoustics and sound quality have so greatly improved in theaters it would sound fantastic I think.

That guitar is not of this Earth. Buck must have had some really good karma for the Gods to bestow such a gift to him.

I've seen them many times since the 70's playing in the NJ, NY area and in the bars as Soft White Underbelly!!! 1980's Cultosaurus Erectus is my favorite album they played with Black Sabbath on the Black & Blue tour for it. Divine Wind, Monsters, Black Blade, The Marshall Plan, Lips in the Hills and many more!!
