My favorites to this day. Saw them at the Providence Civic Center (now the Dunkin Donuts Center) 1976 or so when RUSH opened for them! Helluva show! BOC at that time was referred to as "the thinking man's metal band". Their lyrics were always mysterious! great vid, thanks for posting!

So strange to see Buck playing a guitar with a headstock!
-
BÖC: rock & roll's secret weapon!
-
...wow, Buck in a Disco suit....Outstanding

Thanks for this, it's the. 4 of July and I'm watching my favorite American bands in no particular order . From times I saw them . This is the earliest I could find, all the songs , Fantastic, thanks again for the upload.

Eric is strictly rhythm, he doesn't like to make it cry or sing.
-
Eric has an incredible singing voice. I could listen to him sing all day, every day.
-
Don't let Buck's size fool you. He's a BEAST with a guitar!!!!
-
Eric is handsome, sexy, talented, and COOL.
-
BOC is a criminally underrated band. Smh
-
Awesome stuff, thanks for posting it. brings back memories.

Buck looks so much like Orlando Bloom during this show it's not even funny. In all seriousness, though, these guys were(and still are) fantastic. Wish they'd play some of the classics more though. Transmaniacon, Morning Final, Sole Survivor, etc. Still, love to see them every time, they always do it different, and it's great.

They've grown on me slow but steadily over the years since I saw them live in 1999. Really enjoying Secret Treaties and look forward to more. I've discovered that BOC is a full LP band more than greatest hits/anthology one. Cool to hear a classic American band without the typical American band cliches.

A word on the drum solo.....while not as technically challenging as Neil's I like this sole better than most .....Nice job .....when I saw them the solo was during Godzilla and he wore a mask......pretty cool
-
Love the close ups on Dharma's fretting......love to see the approach
-
fucking sound.

Became MY band that year, come on, who jammed better than Buck and the boys back then>? Nobody, they kicked everyone's ass in the late 70's and I was so glad to have seen them so many times. Hell, my late daughter was created, herd them in vitro and was nearly born to them. Albert's solo's were one of the few drum solos I could tolerate back then. (Rainbow did have a pretty ridiculously great drum solo opening with them back then, might have been the awesome weed, though, not quite sure...). But, shit, who played like Buck or Allen or Eric? Hell, "5 Guitars" was just vicious and hi-lighted how great they all were. Such a shame they can't do it now, RIP Allen.

Thanks for posting this, saw them at The Free Trade Hall M/cr uk at this time Specters tour and all the Lasers.Loved these guys never seemed to get the credit they deserved especially over here. But to se this all these years later is just f**king Ace thanks again.

I'd never heard of Blue Oyster Cult before I saw this two-record set come out - On Your Feet or On Your Knees. This was one of the last albums I bought because it had either a cool album title or a cool album cover. MAN I'm glad I got it. BOC and Uriah Heep - two fantastic bands I happened on to because of the album title/cover.
