I recently discovered RA Salvatore and have been listening to his 'The Hunter's Blades Trilogy' and the sword Khazid'hea (Cutter) made me think of this song , so much so that I was certain it was based on it, apparently not though.
Now that I know of Moorcock ill have to try and find time to read this series..... It would be better if his books were uploaded as audiobooks like Salvatores , I just dont have the time to read like I used to....and my eyes are starting to go bad , im only 47. -
Blood and souls for my lord Arioch !

One thing about B O C so many of their songs were so different from each other
-
It was based on Elric of Melnibone and his life sucking sword

I wonder why they didn't call this song "Stormbringer?"

...I got here from a page talking about Castellan Crowe. How the hell..?

This band is so underrated ( in North America ) better than the Stones, as good as Purple, Zeppelin, Floyd and they tell stories as good as Uriah Heep !
-
Patti Smith did a lot of writing for this album too! She loved Moorcock! Ya sure you fourteen year old boys had a giggle at that! Whatever!
-
Anyone ever read Michael Moorcock books? This is what it's based on!
