Behringer CC300 chorus + synths (Ensoniq SQ-80 / ESQ-1)
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Chorus is the classic synth effect - there's a reason Roland included it on some of their most popular synths. It can make weak synths sound instantly lush. This is a demo of the Behringer CC300 chorus on an Ensoniq SQ-80 (same sound as the ESQ-1). The SQ-80 is already capable of lushness on its own (it has 3 oscillators) but the CC300 still ads a bit of extra magic in most cases. Some notes: You will notice though that some sounds actually sound a bit worse with chorus. Some sounds need to be a bit less wide and thick. Because it is a guitar pedal, you can easily overload the input. You'll notice my adjustments to volume through out. In this demo I use all buttons in. You can adjust the various buttons for more or less chorus. Overall a great pedal and very inexpensive!

This synth does not need this...thing.

It appears that the effect is quite more pronounced when applied to simpler waveforms, rather than complex patches, not?
Glad to be the first to subscribe to you ;)
