Hey does anyone know where they filmed the Birth island scenes? (Besides the stage, i mean the actual place)

Those guys must've been exhausted after filming. Ya it isn't quite like the original one where the suit nearly killed the guy and weighed over 300lbs, but it doesn't look easy. I read somewhere that there was somewhere along the lines of a gallon of sweat that needed to be dumped out of the suit between takes. Thing must've smelt putrid.
