Before the big bang 2 - Conformal Cyclic Cosmology explained

The conventional view that time began at the big bang is often said to be based on what is known as Penrose Hawking singularity theorems. In our last film, Abhay Ashtekar and Ivan Agullo argued that a singularity is replaced with a bounce in quantum gravity. In this film, we interview Sir Roger Penrose, one of the authors of the conventional narrative who presents an alternative view which he calls CCC (Conformal Cyclic Cosmology). In CCC the big bang is not the ultimate beginning but it did not arise from a bounce; instead the universe rescales itself, losing track of how big it is as massive particles disappear (and hence the ability to measure space and time) in the remote future. This cyclic behaviour may be extended to the infinite past and future. Whilst Roger Penrose and Vahe Gurzadyan's claim that there was evidence for CCC in the CMB (Cosmic Microwave Background) was not accepted by the wider community, what's less well known is that a new team led by Prof Krzysztof Meissner (University of Warsaw, CERN) has claimed a confirmation of CCC in a new study. We discuss this with Professors Penrose and Meissner and put to them many questions regarding this new model. The film is intended for a lay audience that has an interest in cosmology and the origin of the big bang. The interviewees were asked to check a draft of the film to make sure they had not been taken out of context in the edit and there are no scientific mistakes. SkyDivePhil, you are a LIAR. At minute 20:06 you QUOTED Sinclair's and Craig's OBJECTION based on the evident IMPLICATIONS of the Model and you presented it to Penrose as Craig's REPRESENTATION of the MODEL.

,time is relative because it's the expansion of space which is constrained by Gravity which is equivalent to velocity which is equivalent to mass. So, when the black holes have all evaporated and all the particles of matter have similarly evaporated away then time is relative no more and infinite. Therefore, there is a huge difference between the conditions of the singularity and his described conditions between these cycles, he says that the Universe forgets what time is, but time would be almost infinite as space continued to expand without restriction as matter and mass and gravity evaporated together. The expanding universe would end up massless without gravity or forces related to particles and become an expanding three-dimensional void creating and maintaining only time which describes it's changing dimensions. A singularity, on the other hand, has no space and no time but infinite gravity and mass.....the end and the beginning he describes make no sense to me, but then again, I have almost no education and what I got was over fifty years ago.....but I do love to read. I found this talk almost incomprehensible at times and that's the first time that has happened to me, that I am aware of.

The problem with all of this is, that there was no big bang.

entropy is neither increasing nor decreasing.

pagan lies. the universe balances entropy on the grand scale with syntropy on the quantum scale. and there was no "beginning of the universe" or "cyclic universe" because that's a simple paradox to resolve unless you're an overpaid derpy scientist (ie. creating time requires time… duh! plus thermodynamics forbids the magical creation of matter out of nothing).
the real answer is that all black holes create big bangs and the event horizon prevents us from seeing even the most violent explosions in the universe. matter pours down a black hole towards the singularity at the quantum scale and then POOF! antigravity overwhelms gravity and explodes fractal space-time outward. black holes don't "evaporate" away. they just open up again as the gravity well naturally weakens over eons, revealing new space and already developed galaxies inside the decaying event horizon. -

Great vid, very nice. I love Penrose idea.
Nevertheless, as far as I know, the motivating data, the anomalous concentric rings, have been argued (most think successfully) are consistent with current theory, and, not evidence of a pre-inflation era (as CCC argues).
Also, Penrose´s model, if I remember correctly depends on information being lost into black holes, a position that is almost unanimously rejected now a days (maybe everyone is wrong, but, layman as us, should not have much reason to think Penrose is correct on this).

omg..why do not anybody understand that the univers that we know it is a part of one big cell that is starting to die. And it in it self is part of something starting to live.multivers is just a big organism that live in it self eating energy from dark materia as it goes along
