*BandaiModels* 1/500 Space Battleship Yamato 2199 - Part 13
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Putting on the last parts on this kit I can almost say I am done with the 1/500 Space Battleship Yamato 2199. This is a lot more to do with this massive kit but I know to stop for awhile and build some other kits...like a gundam kit. Don't worry this kit will be ready for Mosquitocon that's coming this April. I like to thank GundamPlanet for this kit. http://www.gundamplanet.com/

prime from what I heard youll want to gloss coat before decaling due to silvering, something I found out the hard way ; ; but can you compare size with a mg length and height wise to give us a idea of how big this beast is. may have to dedicate a entire shelf for something this big :/

Can you leave a note here once you figure what color to use on the deck? Thanks.

It's probably best to use an acrylic clear coat since the model was painted with lacquers, then use an enamel based wash such as Mig Production or Tamiya rather than using the Vallejo acrylic wash. This will ensure that your base cost will not be affected.

Good decision on taking a break. I am eager to see what you're itchy to build.
