in this video I show some of my sky-watcher...equipment and how they perform, during a cold winter night....the price to pay is high.. cold nights, restless hours and waiting for a window of a clear night..as for me ... I don't have many good nights...because of my location.... too many days raining, cloudy nights and work....but today I'm going to show you what you can accomplish after a while of practice and learning from the best on the business...look what you can see on the moon. on the stars and everywhere in the universe... just get your telecopes and give it a try...enjoy the video..Rich

At the 7:18 mark, you have a dirty eyepiece. As you zoom in on this out of focus star, the speck on the eyepiece appears to move to the center or the secondary shadow. The object is neither moving nor in space, it is a speck of something on the eyepiece. You can verify this by going back to the 7:16 mark and watching how it "moves" relative to the out of focus star. As the image is zoomed in the speck appears to move into the shadow of the secondary mirror.
As to your large black object you'll notice that the focus is even further out. I've seen this before, it is merely a further degradation of the image due to over focusing on the star. It can cause "gaps". If you look at the 7:51 mark on the video and freeze it you will see similar "dark objects" at the 8:00 and 2:00 positions. Just a degraded image. -
Know what was that at 7:00
