the mt32 seems miles better than the adlib or soundblaster. i knew it was better, but holy shit!

Never bought an MT32 at the time because it was relatively expensive.

If that is an STE you could output video (and the Roland) to a PVR or something. That would be cooler still. :-)

It's just a normal MT-32. All MT-32s used a bog-standard MIDI interface and there was no "specific versions". The ST has a built in MIDI interface so you only had to hook the MT-32 up via a normal MIDI lead.

Well I think it's just an Mt-32. I didn't know they were compatible though.
