Astronomy for Astrologers, Part 3

Explanation of the astronomical foundations of astrology. This tutorial video was designed for astrologers but anyone interested in an introduction to positional astronomy may find this video helpful. In this video we learn (1) why the distance of a planet from the Ascendant is not the same as the distance from the horizon, (2) we learn about projected positions of planets on the ecliptic plane, and (3) we practice viewing planets in the Sky Map and estimating what the azimuth and altitude are, (4) right ascension and declination, and (5) the vernal and autumnal equinoxes, which are also the 0-Aries and 0-Libra points in the tropical zodiac.
