About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Let's try this again! Join +Fraser Cain and +Pamela Gay for a live episode of Astronomy Cast. We'll record our 30-minute show, and then stay tuned for another episode today! Ep. 393: The Standard Model, Leptons & Quarks Physicists are getting a handle on the structure of the Universe, how everything is made of something else. Molecules are made of atoms, atoms are made of protons, neutrons and electrons, etc. Even smaller than that are the quarks and the leptons, which seem to be the basic building blocks of all matter.

I disagree - finding any life anywhere else than Earth, even if it's bacteria, would be a serious challenge to religious views - creationists in particular. Any life, in any form, not indigenous to Earth is "Earth-shattering."

My hypothesis as to the poor quality of Pamela's audio glitches is based on a comparison of her video quality to that of Fraser's. It appears to me that there are more bits per pixel in Pamela's video, which would, of course require more bandwidth. I could be wrong, Pamela's camera may just be better and the lighting brighter.
For my taste, i do appreciate the greater detail, and tone rendering that flatters Pamela's pleasing physiognomy and the charming chotckes (sp,non-cyrillic) in her background. -
Yay, it's for real this time! :D
