The Pathfinder Mars mission lander is the Sagan Memorial Station with the Sojourner mini-rover. So ... Uncle Carl does have a spacecraft.

An excellent discussion regarding one of the pioneers of Dark Matter, Vera Rubin. I first found out about her during the PBS series, THE ASTRONOMERS, back in the 90's. To see so much of her theoretical work justified has been awesome to behold!
