This is a remastering of Jethro Tull's "Astronomy", from 1984's UNDER WRAPS, using CD as the source. I'll say it again. People and/or Tull fans who don't like this album are doofuses. It's even one of Martin Barre's favourite Tull albums he performed on. What does that tell ya! I try and find the AAD CD versions of albums when possible, and Under Wraps on CD came out the same year as the LP. And when you think about it, that's kind of a big deal. A lot of artists catalogues took awhile to come out on CD. Though I'll always prefer working from Vinyl LP, I could not resist hunting down a CD version of this album, because for one, the production and engineering (done by Jethro Tull themselves) is impeccable. It is a phenomenal sounding album. On LP and CD. And secondly, Astronomy, which appeared on the CD only, has an intro that makes me see Alison Moyet come strutting out ready to sing about some damned thing that happened to her. That is an awesome groove in that main intro. Absolutely dance-able. I loved Under Wraps. There's not a bad song on it, including the extra tracks that came with this media version (Astronomy, Tundra, General Crossing, Automotive Engineering) - all someone has to do now is sync it to some James Bond film, a la Dark Side of the Moon / Wizard of Oz, and you got an experience ;) Jethro Tull ‎– Under Wraps Label: Chrysalis ‎– 610 203-222 Format: CD, Album Country: Germany Released: 1984
