This is simply a commercial product (geared mainly toward kids) that gives a little idea of the kind of things astronauts might eat.**** I picked up a package of "Astronaut Food" a while back and decided it was time to try it out. This freeze-dried "Beef Stew Space Dinner" includes beef stew, corn and chocolate pudding. The seller I got this from had a chicken dinner available for a while too, but I missed out on that one. I also got some Tang to mix up as a drink to go along with the meal! The beef stew was kind of bland, but not too bad overall. The potatoes were kind of rubbery and chewy. The corn was fine once reconstituted with water, but also pretty bland. A little salt made both of them taste much better. The chocolate pudding was just an instant pudding mix and tasted very good.
