12. Yo, the Quran doesn't speak about a flat earth, you are using the wrong English translation for the word (دحاه، dahaa'ha) which means like an ostrich egg and not a carpet. here is a correct translation (just an interpretation of the verse in the sacred Quran)
    
    “And the earth, moreover, hath He made ("dahaa'ha) egg shaped.”
    [Al-Qur’an 79:30]
    
    The Arabic word for egg here is dahaa'ha which means an ostrich-egg. The shape of an ostrich-egg resembles the geo-spherical shape of the earth. Thus the Qur’an correctly describes the shape of the earth, though the prevalent notion when the Qur’an was revealed was that the earth was flat.
