http://www.recordedamigagames.org Played By: OsaUkko I translated that secret message on astro chicken arcade and made animation of it. Orginally player has to decode message by himself, but I decide that it is more comfortable for viewer this way. Enjoy. Wow, music so much better than I remembered. I played it with PC Speaker...

Judson Joist.. man, SQ3 is WAY better than the first two (which I loved as a kid). SQ4, imho, is the masterpeice of the series. The voice acting is just SO hilarious, and NOT in a "so bad it's good" but legitimately "so good it's good." It's amazing. You must AT LEAST watch a let's play of it.
Also, you have your privacy settings set so that people can't reply to you ever. -
1989? Wow. I was born in 1994. 27 years later the game is still remembered and played, wow.
-
I only ever played SQ1&2. SQ3's version of the intro theme totally reminds me of Buckaroo Banzai! XD \8-D

If you wanted the higher quality music and sound back then you had to have a computer with a Roland MT-32 hooked up. It made a huge difference.

Which was better the IBM/PC version or the Amiga version?
-
Sounds like a regular Amiga 500 (with 1mb RAM) to me :) At least this is exactly how I remembered it from when I purchased & played Space Quest 3 in the late 80's! :D
-
The music sounds slow. Any chance this was on a PAL Amiga / Emulator? Because the game is US, so NTSC would be the right speed? no?

God, this brings back memories. I used to play amiga games (Space Quest III was my first one along with Leisure Suit Larry - when they first came out) when I was in the army stationed in Germany. I used to play these games when I was on CQ duty. Good times... I miss the simple games (not easy, simple)

I love the maby comparisons of this sporty little ship to the Millenium Falcon. The Falcon was CALLED a piece of junk. The Mallard actually WAS one.
-
One of the best Sierra games ever. Roger Wilco rules.

Doesn't matter what version of the song it is, the World O' Wonders theme is still one of my favorite songs in all of Space Quest.

WHOOO!!! ROMANIANS!!!
-
@Cocheese0 I know, man You had to put on a brave face when you were little to play this. Because as much as it was fun, it was eerie and violent.
-
Looks pretty much graphically identical to the Tandy 1000 version, but the sound and music doesn't hold a candle to the Tandy. If you truly want to experience this game the way it was meant to be played, play it on Dosbox using Tandy mode for visuals and activate the Tandy speaker. Nothing beats it.

Cool - I didn't know you could kill the terminator that way... iirc I killed him in the giant statue (I think a big hook on a chain or something?)
-
So stupid on the channel it only shows the intro. :C

Nice man, u have SKILLS in this game. U did it in just over an hour, me it took more than a week. U are moving Roger Wilco with such smoothness and inteligent(nearly poetic) use of the parser. Bravo!!!
