I'm suprised that Akira, which was made with 10 million dollars, has much better animation than the first pokémon movie, which cost 30 million dollars.

I hated this film to be honest. Why the fuck do the scientists who are seen as the good guys want to create akira in that boy it makes no sense just leave the kid alone and don't fuck with his brain then no one will die for fuck sake

I was quite skeptical about Akira when I started watching it, the art style didn't appeal to me, but I ended up loving the anime and the art style didn't bother me at all. Don't judge an anime on the art alone.
