About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
We record the podcast this week from a very special location: inside a life-size replica of the NASA Lunar Excursion Module from Tom Sach's "Space Program: Europa" exhibit. Adam geeks out about this ship, the other pieces of the exhibit, and the recent mission he participated in at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Learn morea about the exhibit here: https://www.ybca.org/whats-on/space-program-europa Get Adam's new poster here: http://tested.com/membership To subscribe to Still Untitled, check out our RSS feed: http://www.tested.com/podcast-xml/still-untitled-the-adam-savage-project/ or iTunes page: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/still-untitled-adam-savage/id586730504 Subscribe for more videos! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=testedcom Follow us on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/testedcom Get updates on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/testedcom Tested is: Adam Savage http://www.twitter.com/donttrythis Norman Chan http://www.twitter.com/nchan Simone Giertz http://www.twitter.com/simonegiertz Joey Fameli http://www.twitter.com/joeyfameli Adam Isaak http://www.instagram.com/adamisaak Kishore Hari http://www.twitter.com/sciencequiche Patrick Norton http://www.twitter.com/patricknorton Frank Ippolito http://www.twitter.com/frankippolito Sean Charlesworth http://www.twitter.com/cworthdynamics Jeremy Williams http://www.twitter.com/jerware Thanks for watching!

I don't get it... was this Space LARPing?
-
3.40 well you could spoil it for the majority of your viewers who cant make it to the U.S.A.

Wow! Tom Sachs' pretension comes through even when he isn't on camera! Clearly I don't have an artistic mind, but saying things like "it really is a mission" or "it's not performance art" are blatantly untrue, and take away from what seems like a pretty cool exhibit. I think it's great that people are making art inspired by space exploration and other worlds, but the way they're taking it so seriously and making grandiose claims about what this thing is or is not just agitate this part of my brain that can sense BS. All this said, I haven't actually seen the exhibit, maybe if I did all the big talk wouldn't bug me so much.

hope it comes to Austin

LARP'ing space exploration. That's awesome!

It appears to me that the three of you are sitting in someone's shed. The shed looks to be made out of stolen road signs, it has an air conditioner and a stereo system made from parts found in dumpsters. It seems to have a central vacuum cleaner system and a really questionable tape rack. Someone's 10-year-old made a couple of space helmets and left them on the bench seat. Where was this LEM you guys were describing? Is it behind the camera?
-
i love space but i dont get tom sachs work, that thing does not look like the lem to me
-
Oh yippee, another podcast...
-

Post your comments for "Features Not Standard: Adam Savage's Portable Movie Theater" here. Don't forget to use word like "whoreish".

Norm is the life form of "I don't know what to do with my hands"

I forgot the 'don't read the comments' rule. Why do people have to be so negative? I fully understand those that are offering constructive criticism! but 'I hate Norms face' or 'You turned of the comments therefore I hate you', (which was probably done as part of it being a commercial btw, commercials on YT often don't have comments abled.) these are not constructive. They are you being whiny. I will happily admit not all Tested content is for me, so I won't watch it all, but that does not mean I can't appreciate that Tested produces an amazing amount of content! And I'll still enjoy the videos that follow my interest without commenting on every video something like 'this sucks, it's not for me.' Now after that negativity, I do actually hope you have a lovely day :)

I just listened to this on my way home from class this afternoon. I had to watch it to get the full effect!
-
Sachs..... really. I'm tapping out. Good luck, love you guys.

Great to see the podcast visiting locations. This podcast has really piqued my interest in Toms work and to be honest contemporary art in general.
I see what Tom was getting at when he noted how each probe its components and procedures is an emphatic stamp of modern America wherever it lands. Just like every real mission is incongruous lump of humanity wherever it lands. -
Best channel ever. I love people who are passionate about what they do.
