A Look At The IMAI Space 1999 Eagle Transporter
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
A quick look at the 1/110 scale Eagle, while most of these kit's are considered "toys". They can be made into a nice scale model for the shelf. It's about 6, 6 1/2 inches long when complete, so it doesn't take up valuable shelf real estate.

A cool project Chris I will be watching

I had this kit but then sold as soon as I realised it was more of a toy than a model. I really wished I hadn't.

It's got enough detail for you to work your magic Chris.

Looks like a neat kit! Fun nostalgia! Drew

very nice i want one will have to find one thanks for sharing

I like the way the spine is cut out, compared to the "spinal fusion" of the MPC kit which needs so much TLC to look good. Thanks for sharing, Chris! - Trevor

Chris, I like flexing my Google-Fu, so I screen-grabbed "I have no idea what this is, but there it is", straightened and cropped it, ran it through Google Image Search, ran those results (all Japanese) through Google Translate and discovered it's a flyer for a Japanese plastic assembly kit of the Robodatchi "Robot Island Oshima". Must be rare, this Japanese auction site is selling one for 870 USD - guess we won't be seeing you build it! :) http://one-jp.com/lot/p512781326

Love Space: 1999 models. I've never seen anyone build that version and I'm sure yours will look great. Just make sure when you finish it doesn't crash into your desk and explode!

That,s a super little Eagle kit,it would be cool to build a lighted take off pad for it .
-
You always manage to come up with something different & cool Chris. This will be fun to watch. Enjoy the build.

Nice little kit! When you said axles for the wheels I thought you were being funny and then you pulled out the tires!! Never knew this kit was a roller!!

One of the coolest ships of all time. I had the Dinky Die Cast as a kid and played with it all the time. Great choice of subject matter you have chosen
