The new beta is out in all its glory with beautiful new models, textures and network code, but did you know about these new features? - Double Click makes a hand tool keep working continually - Interacting with highlighted stuff by pressing LMB and interacting with control panel RMB (only with empty hands) - Enabled interior lights for small ships - Added new toggle for Sensor for detecting subgrids - Added a new button to rotors that allows a small rotor head to be added - Trees can now be cut down using the grinder/drill tool - Added Voice Chat (dependent on antenna network, it can be enabled by pressing U)

The sensor seeing sub grids I didn't know about as before I had a landing pad that turned on lights when a ship was coming into land but soon as I turned landing gears on to attach, the lights went off.

thanks for the video, i did learn some things, but just saying the sensor thing is flipped from what you said. it used to detect subgrids always. i tried having a rotating radar on a ship of mone using a sensor, but it would detect itself. still a good video though

that new doupleclick to keep the tool activated
well meh
not sure if its fixed, but last i tried, holding down the mouse button, then going into a menu or inventory, letting go of the mouse button, exiting the menu or inventory, and poof constantly running grinder -
i cannot hear other people with the voice chat, but they say they can hear me..help please?

one thing you could probably do with radio voice is in a battle that would hurt to have an antenna destroyed. just a small thing but that might be useful for space battle roleplay or w/e

I've been having fps problems on planets, lowest settings 8-core 3.4ghz processor 16gb ddr3 ram 2gb gddr5 dedi-vram (and processor, Nvidia graphics card)there should be NO bottlenecks here, but I still get horrendous fps problems.
