I find the comment at 3:42 about the earth passing through the same region of space each year, to be erroneous since we're moving around the sun at 60,000+ miles an hour and the sun is following an arm of the milkyway at a million or so miles an hour and our entire galaxy is moving through space at some horrendously large velocity. I find it extremely unlikely that we'd pass through the "same region" of space year after year or ever.
Granted, I realize they meant same region relative to our position in our solar system but it just makes me wonder about the usefulness of charting a coordinate system for space. It might be useful to our relative position, however, deep space voyagers might find themselves lost using such a system since everything in space is moving and is never where it last was.
