The Big Bang Theory is by far the most accepted theory surrounding the origin of our universe - but it's not perfect. Here are 5 unsolved mysteries surrounding the Big Bang. Another theory, called Ekpyrotic Theory, attempts to explain the holes in the Big Bang Theory by merging general relativity with string theory. this is so cute hehe

Actually, the universe was never in an infinitesimally small infinitely dense state. In physics, this is called a singularity, and when a theory predicts the existence of a singularity, it means that it is incomplete, an approximation of a deeper and more accurate theory. General relativity, which mathematically defines our current understanding of the Big bang, is therefore incomplete and a better theory will be needed to have a full understanding of how our universe came into existence.

All of this science is about me, I'm the incarnation of Science, and I prove it on my youtube channel.

There is nothing in the Big Bang Theory that states or claims the universe began from a singularity or single point. You are wallowing in pop science. The theory deals with densities, not spatial area.
-
i think from what i remember about it from that sixty symbols video, the string theory big bang is just an event inside a universe, like just part of it is expanding like crazy.
-
I hate the big bang theory also. Dont feel bad.

"...it works. Until it doesn't."
I half died of laughter xD
Btw, what's this music in the background? It's so catchy :D -
Well Joe, here is another theory for you to think about. Instead of starting with nothing and then having the " Big Bang " start with a massive "black hole " that discharge a stream of energy (Hawkins). This discharge (similar to a shotgun blast) would have a pattern that mirrors the present size and shape of the universe without violating any laws of physics (Inflation theory, dark energy and dark matter) The main problem with the inflation theory is once something exceeds the speed of light how did it reduce to its present speed in empty space. Dark energy is associated with the massive black hole effect and dark matter is associated with all the photons floating around( that another story) The universe is a living thing. Its born, it lives and grows, then it collapse to be reborn from the original massive black hole

Best response to a globehead! I cannot communicate with someone who
believes they ascended from apes! I guess we know who got big banged! -
why have you got such a problem with tbbt show? is one of the top programs out there.. has to be look at its success and time is been going... ive loved it since day 1

ok so i got a theory just now that is kinda religious and science. he said the galaxys are spongy and look like brain matter or cells or whatever, also that im guess our universe is oval shaped? and when god created us he created us in his image. what if, the galaxy and universe is just a giant brain, gods brain, and were all just memorys or little movie like day dreams inside the brain of (god/jesus/whichever god) and our only purpous and creation is just day dreams inside our creators head, with our galaxys literally being brain cells, and were just atoms or something dicovering other cells and parts of this giant brain we live in? i mean we are kinda like cells, reproducing growing dying ect. getting smart and contributing, or destroying and being like cancer cells or something. im not really religious or that smart science wise so i might not make alot of sense, but, i mean it could be. (pls respond joe if you think this holds any water at all lol)

I always wondered if the bbt was religious. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, etc. Now I see that a priest astrophysicist came up with it. WOW!

I'm not quite sure if you understand the fundamental ideology to what exactly you are talking about, or if you are just a man "reading from a teleprompter" as you would put it, but, there are a few more problems with the Big Bang theory that you did not account for. There's one major issue that has troubled me for quite some time though. Which is, if the Universe started from a singularity, in what's known as the "Big Bang", exactly what caused this singularity to begin with? Everyone knows that a singularity is a point in space, in which, gravity is condensed so tightly that it can not possibly get any more dense, resulting in what is known as a singularity/black hole. The only object known to have the gravity needed to create a singularity is a collapsing star, not a comet, not a moon, and not a planet of any size. So tell me, exactly what created the singularity at the "beginning" of our universe? It's up for debate, but my guess, a giant star was the origin of the big bang, and existed for hundreds of billions of years before such event occurred.

There's nothing wrong with show stop judging stuff u never made

Doesn't the ekpyrotic theory rely on the validity of string theory which is perhaps an unfalsifiable *hypothesis in itself? So for this theory to have credence, string theory has to be true which seems to be controversially failing to provide evidence till date, just like the claims about the TV show being funny.

It's the Giant Spaghetti Monster! He created us all!!!

But "the big bang theory" was the first popular Show (at least of the ones i know) that included a disabled Person, constantly making jokes about his disability without getting bashed by someone for it. Also imo it kept it's entertaining factor for longer than most other shows

I'm convinced our universe is a simulation, the only question I have is our universe a sim in a sim...

its an electric universe

Well, I think the biggest problem with the BBIT is that it introduces infinities into physical reality. David Hilbert demonstrated why this cannot be done. For instance, it is said that the density of a singularity or black hole approaches infinity. How can anything approach infinity? Half of infinity is infinity. A millionth of infinity is infinity. And so on. It is as if from the very beginning of that approach towards infinity, infinity is already reached. And that is why infinities cannot be introduced into the physical universe.
