5 Baffling Mysteries About the Universe
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
At the beginning of the 20th century, many scientists thought that we had learned all there was to know about physics. The problem is, the better we get at measuring things and building models of our universe, the more we discover that there are plenty of mysteries left to solve... why do we need to assume that the extra gravity we see is coming from matter (and so, the dark matter concept)? couldn't there be a new phenomenom creating more gravity, without matter (or even energy?)? in this sence, it wouldn't be more accurate to call it dark gravity?
-
Solution: ALIENS! made of lithium-7 and heavy neutrinos, drifthring through space eating antimatter since the dawn of time, that just happened to build a roadway for themselves throught the zone we now call the axis of evil. also they've created life on earth
-
he said there are no antimatter observable but showed at first a cloud of antimatter on the milky way? I dont understand. what was that image?
-
I thought Dark Energy would have been on this list too.
-
I feel like this should be on sci show space?
-
Could Dark Matter be normal matter in a different dimension so close to ours that it is bending our space-time?
-
Wow, such amazing lack of knowledge. Trust in the Lord.
-
Or God just made a bunch of stuff that shouldn't exist to mess with scientists that don't believe in him :P
-
what if lithium 7 reacted with something?
-
I read somewhere that antimatter also has an opposite spin on its particules. I find it important to mention because otherwise, chargeless particules wouldn't have their opposite twins (like neutrons and antineutrons)
-
could you make a more in depth video on the axis of evil? what do you mean that our solar system lines up with it
-
Waitaminute. Why is therr an antimattar cloud at the centar of the Milkie Way? Do othar galaxies have such a cloud or just ahrs?
-
Why is it too taboo to most scientists to suggest we live within a computer simulation?
Seems to be a wonderfully simple explanation to me. -
lots of scientists believe in god
-
9:01 maybe the *world really does revolve around us
i mean /maybe/ okay don't get all flustered on me
*world, universe; this, that; yadda, yadda. -
So, could the neutrino mass come from its velocity? If they have no mass, perhaps the lower than anything else mass is cause it's only the velocity mass that's allowing them to switch. ?
-
The Lithium is like the last few tiles on a Rubik's cube. You're gonna mess up everything try and get them in place but there is a formula for solving it so it's not impossible... just really hard.
-
Heres a stupid guess.
Dark matter has something to do with antimatter.
Lots of matter no antimmater, lots of Dark matter no antimatter. Maybe those bubbles of dark matter are galaxies of antimatter and we cant see them cuz only the far far end of them is reacting..? idk im a 14 yr old :P -
Cause GAWWWWWD
-
The ancestors of big oil & gas were trying to hide lithium way back then so that we couldn't use it in batteries to power electric cars that could cut into their profits! lol ;)
