Hello, Mr. Wernick, I'd like to say that I really liked your animation. It's really cool. Well, some days ago I had the ideia of creating an Astronomic Serie. My friends liked it and we're starting. I'd like to ask for your permission for using your video in the opening animation, remember that your name will apear there as the animation maker! Thanks for your attention and sorry for my bad english. =)

@jelloskater I'm actually working on some additions to this one right now, Getting better spacing between planets adding an the Asteroid belt and a few other things. So hopefully i'll have a revised one up, and perhaps i'll use your ideas. You have some cool ideas to work with.

I always thought it would be funny to make a set of two videos using the same animating of our solar system. The first would be a camera directly over the sun, where you see all the planets in orbit. The second would be the same video, except with the camera linked to the Earth directly above (and rotating and moving with it) so it looks like the Earth isn't moving. That way, we can see what people who thought the solar system revolved around the Earth thought our solar system was like.

@CyberNeticRodent Even though it came out over a year ago, i'm still wanting to add more too it. Correct Spacing, asteroid belts, moons, better lighting, etc. This was a large scale test on textures of the planets/ stars, along with some camera angles/shots and HD editing in After Effects/Premier.
