No 14 the wow signal I remember seeing a documentary about this and it was tracked to a system hundreds if not thousands of light years away you still think if it was ET he would have had to be waiting many thousands of years for a response.

Roanoke is one of the most overblown "mysteries" in history. We can be fairly sure that what happened is they ran out of food and went to the natives for help, then got absorbed into the local tribes. There's plenty of evidence to support this theory, but it's not as fun as "OMG the colony vanished without a trace!"
