1080p footage of the launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 that exploded on June 28, 2015. Footage begins three minutes before launch and lasts till the end of the SpaceX broadcast. After the explosion the footage also includes the NASASpaceflight.com-thread discussion immediately after the failure.

I watched the launch this morning from the NE side of the Max Brewer Bridge in Titusville and when I got up to Daytona Beach an hour later I heard that the rocket had exploded
I was wondering how I didn't see it and this vid and the altitude of the vehicle when it exploded explains why

So many haters.. First of all, Nasa is 56 years old with plenty of failures under it's belt, Space X is 13 years old. There is also a 0% chance that somebody like Ted freaking Cruz will ever get to be in charge of Space X..
Anyway, awesome video! I'm glad we got to see it break the sound barrier at least. -
I like how the banner description below the video say "Florida, EARTH" as if this could be from another planet...
