its a good thing first of all tht u r questioning n u want to know god but the base is faith . u firstly have to have faith in god to know him personally. n i m sure he'll help u in finding ur answers. debating gives no result but but seeking surely does . bible says seek 4 him nd u'll find him n churches do believe in doomzday it depends which church u r going. nd he is not punishing us the devil does becuse of our deeds we hv been callled his sons.

@PureHeavenlySultan It has a lot to do with 2012. The reason humankind goes through period cycles of destruction and annihilation (as we see with previous prehistoric civilizations), is because human morality declines to a very low point. Persecution of Truth, Compassion, Forbearance is a manifestation of such a decline. Not caring about the atrocities happening to people on our planet is in itself a manifestation of moral decline. Just food for thought.
