I was mega stoned when I first saw this film, tripped me tf out. but for some reason this score just sank into my head and I had to listen to it again it's so horribly good
-
This score is great for stepping into Denny's.
-
What type of audio is this? Or is it a type of song?
-
Fucking bastard of a monolith giving the poor astronauts tinnitus
-
Goodbye sleep
-
My favorite scene of any movie ever made. Between audio and cinematography it's so perfectly horrifying.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
-
At 3:22 Does anyone know what tone is it (in hertz) ?
-
Can someone tell me if the music used is the title of the video or something else?
-
They got the future wrong. Today, people would be taking selfies with the monolith.
-
2016 and still no moon base.
The development of space technology and exploration has been so slow. -
I like the symbolic ending of the scene where the sun, earth and monolith are perfectly aligned. Stanley was smart enough to know that this could never happen. Still he let it in to the film, maybe because it was beautiful. Or to tell that there are more of them out there.
-
Never mind. There maybe a monolith, or something like it, just waiting to be found.
Perhaps it's hiding in plain sight. -
how was this made in the 60s!
-
Found footage before found footage was invented.

I wouldn't be surprised if what left behind several religious stories was something like the monolith, its entire presence resembles this i'm here but there isn't much I do except help the more intelligent beings evolve. There may have been one that was like a commanding god and there may have been one that gave people love, crazy stuff like that.
-
It would be awesome if someone made a real replica monolith
-
This music is too loud and trying way to hard. I think this scene shouldn't have any music.
-
