the album is like what would happen if blues-rock and not so bluesy Rock had a baby and that baby went to outer space and took LSD! i fucking love it.

This second sounds a bit more better than their debut although I like more their later production. UFO's best period was from 1974 to 1977 to my mind. Lights Out was the last good album to my ears but No Heavy Petting is their best job absolutely. Phenomenon is also quite good but Force It is also listenable. After Obsessions album their production changed too common and dull to my ears. Flying album might be for some UFO fans their best but I'm not agree.

after all this time still my overall favorite album

Man I never noticed the awesome drumming of Prince Kajuka/the coming of Prince Kaluku. I guess because when I was I young man only focused on the guitar. The guitar is out of tune tough on a lot of this album though as much as I like it

"Star Storm" with my morning coffee and spliff.

This has quickly become my favorite album to listen while working out at the gym!! Great guitar work - both lead and bass. I like how the singer sounds distant and the echo effect. Excellent blues/rock. I listened to this band's later stuff...very lame. They should have stuck to this album's format.

Jimmy Page stole part of the lead from silver bird.
