[18] Dead Space Walkthrough Chapter 7-3: Asteroid Release (Line Gun Only)

Dead Space 1 Walkthrough with the Line Gun only (Difficulty: Medium, New Game, Xbox360).   After changing into Level 4 Suit, I head to the Mining Bay where the Asteroid is tethered. I must destroy the Gravy Tethers and plant the SOS Beacon before we can release it. Meanwhile, Kendra says she saw her dead brother again… is she hallucinating? Now that the SOS beacon is out in the space, fingers crossed someone will pick up the transmission… = Planting the Beacon = You are inside the 360 degree zero-gravity area where you must destroy four Tethers, but you can only spot two of them… where are the others? It can be a very confusing section as Isaac’s log doesn’t clearly indicate what you should do next. Well, there are two more Tethers on the other side of the Asteroid so you have to go outside of the ship. Before jumping onto the Asteroid, make sure you wait for the two Rotating Blades to stop momentarily (it’s an instant kill if Isaac gets hit). Again, it's confusing to work out the pattern of the blades, but the easiest and safest place to aim for is near the joint of the Blades as shown.
