Actually, Fenrisian Wolves are NOT the Apex predators. Fenrisian Wolves are surpassed by Thunderwolves, who are then surpassed by the ACTUAL Apex predators, the Blackmaned Wolves

It's called the Canis helix
If they fail to master the beast the can turn into Wulfen
The paint changed due to GW creating space wolf grey as a paint
Some of the primarchs had non human DNA mixed in
The space wold gets more control over the " beast " as they age this is why a wolf can go from blood claw to grey hunter to long fang in his life
The apex land predator on Fenris is the Thunderwolf

so just real quick they weren't there to kill the Primarch's should they turn traitor, they were there as a threat. They also didn't destroy the two unknown legions. They were talking about the two times they clashed with their brothers. Once with the World Eaters and once with Thousands Sons. Sorry just had to correct those two facts. Side note the Dark Angels are not actually traitor. They are just highly distrusted by the Wolves since before the Heresy. Again sorry had to correct it.

Fallen , Cypher , Luthor the murder of imperial troops and citizens to cover their shame yes the Dark Angels are traitors and deceivers and spit on all the false honor that they claim to posses. The Wolves might be unkempt savages and even a few mutants but nothing like the DAs and their revisionist history of nobility

She only says Dark Angels are traitors because Lion beat the shit out of Russ in a 1v1 after Russ was arrogant. Both the Dark Angels and Space wolves would shoot upon the inquisition if they got close to their air space. They're on the same boat (or rock), But neither of them are traitors.
